Possible expansion of local habitat protection

The Kenai Peninsula Borough Assembly has postponed an ordinance that would expand the number of waterways protected in the borough's anadromous stream regulations. That law is designed to protect habitat along rivers where fish like salmon spawn. At Tuesday and Wednesday's meeting, the assembly heard public comment from people supporting the changes and others who are skeptical. KDLL's Ben Stanton reports:
