Fence goes up in Kasilof

At the mouth of the Kasilof River, work is finishing on installing a fence on the beach. The idea is to keep vehicles and people off of delicate habitat. About 3-thousand feet of fence is up now, with about half that much yet to go. The goal is similar to a recent effort at the mouth of the Kenai River. But as KDLL’s Ben Stanton reports, the Kasilof fence, made out of used guard rails, looks very different.
