Clam Slurry

At this time of the year it's normal to find a lot of people gathering on the Ninilchik beach digging for clams. But you don't always see a small water pump on a cart attached to a fire hose that’s getting stabbed into hole in the sand. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game has teamed up with Alaska Pacific University to study razor clam abundance. KDLL's Ben Stanton starts his report with a long walk north from Ninilchik village.
